Back-to-School News
Housing Services has scheduled move-in weekend for Sept. 16-18. As with the past two years, COVID-19 health and safety protocols will be in place. Students must be up to date on their COVID vaccinations and boosters and must test negative prior to their arrival.
Students will be pre-assigned check-in times for their move-in with arrivals staggered by location and day to mitigate wait times and traffic. Up to two guests may accompany students and all must wear face coverings while indoors at campus locations. For more information go to housing.ucr.edu.
About 4,500 students and guests are expected on Friday, 5,700 on Saturday, and 7,200 on Sunday. Check-in, key distribution, and COVID testing will take place in Lot 30. About 8,500 students will be living on campus this fall.
Traffic is expected to be busy in and around campus that weekend.
Dining Services will begin serving some meals at the Lothian Residential Restaurant and Glasgow Residential Restaurant on Sept. 18. For hours and locations of other dining venues visit dining.ucr.edu.
